Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, thanksgiving, thanksgiving....... a time to give thanks for all of God's blessings. I have much to be thankful for but I must admit I'm more blue than thankful. I just can't get in the holiday spirit, thanksgiving or otherwise. I'm not depressed or anything just sadden by the people that aren't here that I want here. On the up side I got to meet Matt's family yesterday, both sides. It was nice to finally put faces to all the names! 

Sitting at Papa Duvall's is probably where all this thinking started. He was talking to us about his wife. And is was the single most real moment I've seen in a while. If only you could have seen his eyes full of emotion. In that moment I started thinking about my grandmothers and how neither of them are here, and as much as I tried it all just snowballed from there. I'm doing a little better today. I know I'll be fine, just needed to express myself.
